We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Practice Manager to lead our friendly, forward-thinking GP practice. Woodlands Health Centre is an established GP Practice serving a growing and diverse community. We are a medium-sized GMS training practice with just over 14 thousand patients. We cover Paddock Wood, East Peckham and Five Oak Green and have very good QOF outcomes. We are 6 partners, 2 salaried Doctors, a 6-person nursing team and a broad administrative team. We are part of Tonbridge PCN and deliver high quality, patient-centred care through a blend of traditional and digital access, supported by a collaborative, forward-thinking clinical team within a wider Tonbridge Primary Care Network.

This is a key leadership role responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice, alongside supporting the partners in delivering high-quality, safe, and sustainable patient care. You will oversee operations, workforce, finance, and governance, working closely with a supportive partner team to shape the future of the practice.

Main duties of the job

  • Leading the operational running of the practice
  • Managing and developing a committed non-clinical team
  • Supporting delivery of safe, effective, and accessible patient services
  • Overseeing performance, workflow, and service improvement
  • Working with partners on financial planning and sustainability
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC and NHS contractual requirements
  • Building strong relationships with PCN and system partners

About You

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Experience managing teams and driving performance
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
  • Experience in healthcare, primary care, or similar environment (desirable)
  • Strengths in operations, people management, or finance
