Our main site is based in Midhurst and we have three smaller branches within a 9 mile radius. We are situated in the beautiful South Downs, a stone's throw away from the coast and London, giving the best of both worlds. We are an hour from both Heathrow and Gatwick Airport allowing for close transport links to Europe and beyond. Our main branch has recently had our kennels refurbished, having a separate dog and cat ward allowing for improved patient welfare.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
Responsibilities
This is a Full Time or Part Time position with flexibility over working days/hours offering you a combination of main site and branch work - the split can be discussed. There will be a mixture of consulting and surgery with some sole charge. The typical shifts are either 8am - 6pm, 8.30 am - 6.30pm or 9am - 7pm with no OOH. Saturdays mornings on a rota of 1:5.
We have lots of toys, to name a few, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, a multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring machine, blood pressure doppler, microscope, in-house biochemistry and haematology blood machines, ultrasound with cardiac and abdominal probe, laser, ECG, endoscope, and tonometer. We have an amazing team of 9 Vets, 7 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 4 VCAs, and receptionists all working together to achieve an excellent standard of care.

- A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
