Job description

APPLICANTS must be over 18 and ideally able to drive as job is based in Stowbridge and split shifts may be required.

Hours: The majority of the hours will be evenings and weekends. Please consider this before applying.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Handle cash and process payments accurately

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is essential
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions effectively
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
  • Experience in guest services to create a welcoming environment for patrons
  • Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory
