What you will be doing
- Lead a team of Health Care Assistants, acting as a positive role model and a trusted point of support.
- Assist with personal care, and support residents during the night.
- Administer medication following training and guidelines.
- Update care plans and maintain accurate records.
- Deliver the highest standard of person‑centred care, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing for every resident.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic environment.
- Support family members and visitors.
What you need to succeed
- At least 2 years’ experience in delivering care or as a Senior Care Assistant.
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willing to sign up / working towards it).
- Trained in medication administration.
- Excellent people and customer service skills.
- Ability to induct, supervise and mentor junior staff.
- Time management skills to delegate tasks within a team.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, and digital skills.
- Caring attitude.
- Flexible and reliable.
