Our Client is seeking Power System Studies Electrical Engineers to work on onshore projects for an initial 6-12 month contract that has an immediate start.
Experience
- Experience of captive power generation, with or without grid connection.
- Should have experience of equipment sizing, load flow, short circuit, dynamic motor starting, harmonic studies, arc flash & transient stability.
- Should have previous experience of running power system studies and overseeing third party vendors.
- Should have previous experience of providing power system studies for projects including EMT software.
- Intermediate know-how using ETAP software.

Purpose
Power systems studies engineers required to support onshore projects.
Requirements
- To include captive power generation, with or without grid connection.
- Studies will include equipment sizing, load flow, short circuit, dynamic motor starting, harmonic studies, arc flash & transient stability.
- Tasks will include running power system studies and overseeing third party vendors.
- Provide power system studies for projects including EMT software.
Duration
6-12 months initially.
Location
The role will be based on minimum 4 days a week in our Client’s Offices in Surrey. Hybrid working may be possible with one day remote.
Rate
£65.00 per hour Ltd co rate.
If the role is likely to be outside of IR35 the final decision will only be made after a QDOS assessment.
