LEAD PRINCIPAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – CONTRACT – SURREYOur Client is seeking a Lead Principal Electrical Engineer for energy transition and energy security projects to develop the electrical power system designs required to support the process design. This is an initial 12 month contract role that has an immediate start.
EXPERIENCECandidates must have demonstratable experience of designing large industrial power systems, covering all aspects of the below job scope.
JOB SCOPE
Power system designs for H2 / NH3 / LNG / Refining projects Sizing and selection of high voltage equipment, Large Frequency converters, AC/ DC UPS systems etc.
Development of philosophies and specifications
Input to estimating.
Complete power system studies/calculations using ETAP / review of studies by others.
DURATION12 months initially
LOCATIONThe role will be based on 4 days a week in our Client\’s Offices in Surrey, and a day remote working.
RATE£60.00 – £62.00 per hour Ltd co rate
If the role is Likely to be outside of IR35 the final decision will only be made after a QDOS assessment.
We are instructed to only submit to our Client candidates whose qualifications and experience match client\’s specifications and can work in the UK.
