OFFSHORE PROJECT ENGINEER – CONTRACT – BERWICKSHIRE/OFFSHORE Our Client, an offshore oil and gas contractor, is currently looking for an experienced Offshore Project Engineer to work with the existing team based on the wind farm based out of site in Berwickshire. EXPERIENCE & SKILLSCandidates must have experience in working offshore on installation projects and have a valid BOSIET (with CA-EBS), offshore medical and full GWO. JOB SCOPEThe role:Provide on-site engineering services to the Project Manager or Offshore Construction Superintendent to assist in the achievement of project objectives, according to the plan / procedures developed by the engineering project team Tasks:The Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements. Tasks include:Perform all tasks assigned by the Offshore Construction Superintendent, in direct contact with the Offshore Construction Assistant, the master and the chief engineerMonitor construction/installation etc. progress to ensure acceptable quality of vessels operationsPerform methods of installation when required in officesPerform maintenance methods when required in the officesUtilise the electronic daily progress report to monitor and record the actual vs planned activitiesVerify sub-contractors performance and assess their operation performanceLiaise with the project personnel and on board responsibilities to ensure smooth job preparation and field operationsPerform yard activities supervision for the offshore constructionLiaise with asset management for the contract monitoring of the assetsEnsure the application of project engineering in the construction activitiesLiaise with Client technical representative for all engineering mattersPerform all possible technical verifications on field RATE: Please quote what limited company hourly rate you would be looking for.
