We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure our park stays well-maintained, clean, and inviting. You will be responsible for all grounds maintenance duties, ensuring that green spaces are immaculate and that facilities are kept in top condition. This role offers a variety of tasks and is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors.
Job Duties:- Cutting grass and maintaining lawn areas to high standards
- Trimming hedges and maintaining shrubbery
- Laying bark and maintaining flowerbeds
- General gardening duties, including planting and upkeep of green areas
- Collecting and disposing of rubbish/litter and managing bin areas
- Distributing deliveries to relevant departments
- Assisting with moving and siting of caravans and lodges
- Supporting other departments with ad hoc duties as needed
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies and health & safety regulations
- Litter picking and keeping park areas clean
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance and gardening
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
- A professional attitude and a positive, can-do personality
- Experience in caravan park environments is an advantage
- Plumbing experience would be beneficial, though not essential
- Willingness to wear company-provided uniform and maintain a neat appearance
- Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the park
