Overview
The Arcade Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of arcade machines across multiple parks. This includes diagnosing and repairing machine faults, updating software and hardware, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and functionality. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, ensuring a top-tier experience for all guests using our arcade facilities.
Job Duties
- Mainly based in the Essex area
- Diagnose and identify machine faults, hazards, or potential issues with arcade equipment
- Carry out repairs and replace damaged or malfunctioning parts to restore machine functionality
- Perform software and hardware updates as necessary to keep machines up to date
- Maintain a tidy and accurate log of machine faults and repairs using the company's ticketing system
- Ensure arcade machines are clean, tidy, and fully stocked for guests use
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain high standards and ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to all company standards and policies, aiming to improve the performance and reliability of the arcade equipment
Requirements
- Previous experience or knowledge in arcade machine repair or a similar technical role is preferred
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail
