An established, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy are looking to recruit a Partner level Building Surveyor to lead and develop its largest Building Surveying team. With a strong reputation across the residential and commercial sectors, the business is widely recognised for delivering at a level that exceeds its size and market positioning. This is a senior leadership appointment offering genuine influence, autonomy and long term opportunity.

The successful candidate will join the leadership team of the firm’s largest Surveying division, overseeing a substantial portfolio of residential and commercial work across Central London, South East London and into Kent.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, managing and developing the largest Surveying team within the business
  • Providing strategic input at board level and contributing to wider business direction
  • Overseeing a mixed residential and commercial workload
  • Delivering operational support and technical guidance to other service lines
  • Driving performance, profitability and sustainable growth within the division
  • Maintaining and developing strong client relationships

This is a true management position, not a nominal Partner title. The role carries real responsibility, visibility and influence across the organisation.

About You

  • MRICS qualified (essential)
  • Proven Building Surveying experience across residential and commercial sectors
  • Strong team leadership or management background
  • Commercially aware with the confidence to contribute at board level
  • Motivated by the opportunity to shape and grow a high performing team
