Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an Associate Director within our London Building Surveying team.

The Role

You will work across a varied portfolio of projects, predominantly within the residential sector, including:

  • Private residential developments
  • High‑end residential properties
  • Listed and heritage buildings
  • Selected public sector projects

The role offers an excellent mix of traditional building surveying instructions alongside exposure to newer and evolving disciplines.

  • Contract Administration
  • Defect diagnosis and reporting
  • Planned Maintenance programmes
  • Schedules of Condition
  • Preparation of specifications and tender documentation
  • Reinstatement Cost Assessments (optional)
  • Licence to Alter work (optional)
  • Building Pathology (optional)
  • Building Safety related instructions (optional)
  • Fire Safety projects (optional)
  • Heritage and conservation work (optional)
  • Additional specialist surveying services as the business expands (optional)

About You

  • Previous experience within a building consultancy environment
  • Strong background delivering residential building surveying instructions
  • Experience managing and developing client relationships
  • Experience mentoring, supporting and developing junior surveyors
  • Strong technical capability across both professional and project work
  • MRICS qualification (or candidate willing to pursue chartership via experienced route)

Hybrid Working

The team operates a highly flexible hybrid model based around a Central London office, with most surveyors typically attending the office two days per week and occasionally three days where business or client requirements dictate.
