An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Newly Chartered Building Surveyor to join a leading global real estate consultancy, working from their flagship West End office. You will be joining a highly regarded Building Consultancy team delivering instructions across a diverse commercial portfolio including Commercial Offices, High End Residential, Warehouses and Retail assets.
The Role
You will step into a team with a live workload, meaning you will be trusted to contribute from day one. The work offers an excellent balance between project and professional instructions, allowing you to naturally gravitate towards the area you most enjoy and potentially specialise in longer term. Typical instructions include:
- Technical Due Diligence
- Dilapidations (Landlord & Tenant)
- Contract Administration & Project Delivery
- Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Defect Analysis
- Party Wall & Neighbourly Matters
- Refurbishment and fit-out projects
This variety provides the perfect platform for a surveyor early in their post chartership career to build genuine breadth of expertise before choosing a preferred direction.

Based in the West End, the team operates a flexible hybrid model with a typical week of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
