An opportunity to join a highly regarded real estate consultancy with an established reputation across the UK property market, offering a genuine platform for progression and the chance to play a key role in the continued growth of a high performing Building Surveying team in London.

Based in a modern West End office, you will be surrounded by a broad range of teams and disciplines, creating a genuinely collaborative, one team environment where cross selling, shared clients and internal referrals are part of the day to day. The business operates a hybrid working model with typically 23 days in the office and 23 days from home.

This is a role offering real autonomy. You will be trusted to manage your own workload and diary in the way that suits you best. There is no micro management or constant reporting; the culture is results driven and supportive. If you are doing the job well, you will be given the freedom to continue doing so.

The Opportunity

The Building Surveying team is in a planned phase of growth in line with the wider business strategy. This Associate Director hire is a key part of that plan and offers a clear, realistic route to senior leadership within the next few years. Progression is organic and based on your development, contribution and ambition, not tied to rigid targets or unrealistic timescales.

Your workload will be deliberately varied, covering:

  • Dilapidations
  • Technical Due Diligence
  • Fund Monitoring
  • Contract Administration
  • A broad mix of professional and project instructions

The team works primarily across Residential, Commercial Offices, Industrial and Retail assets. If you have a preference to specialise more heavily in certain areas over time, this can be accommodated wherever possible.

About You

  • MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor essential
  • Consultancy background is required, ideally operating at Associate or Senior level currently
  • Comfortable managing a varied client facing workload
  • Keen to be part of a growing team where you can influence direction and growth
  • Motivated by genuine career progression rather than a static role

This position will particularly suit either:

  • A Senior Surveyor ready to step up into an Associate Director role, or
  • An Associate who feels progression to the next level is not happening quickly enough in their current environment

Package

  • Salary up to £85k (including car allowance) depending on experience
  • Bonus
  • Full benefits package: medical cover, enhanced annual leave + enhanced Pension and more
