A leading London consultancy, widely regarded as a specialist in neighbourly matters, is looking to appoint Rights of Light Surveyors at all levels from Assistant through to Director. With a substantial pipeline of secured work extending well into 2026, the business is entering a planned phase of growth. Opportunities exist across the full spectrum of experience, making this suitable for those developing their careers as well as established candidates looking for a senior leadership role.
The Opportunity
This is a chance to join a highly respected team advising on complex, high profile developments across London. The consultancy is recognised for delivering strategic Rights of Light advice on some of the capitals most notable schemes. The office is located in the City of London, operating a hybrid model with 2/3 days per week in the office.

To be considered, you must have demonstrable experience in Rights of Light surveying. This is essential. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, commercially aware and confident in managing client relationships. At senior levels, there will be scope to contribute to business development and help shape the teams continued expansion.
Salary Guide
Level and remuneration will reflect the experience you bring:
- Assistant up to £40k
- Surveyor up to £50k
- Senior Surveyor up to £65k
- Associate up to £75k
- Associate Director up to £90k
- Director up to £120k
Career Progression
Progression is performance led and genuinely achievable. Many of the current senior surveyors joined at junior level and have progressed internally. There are no fixed time barriers to advancement; achievement and contribution are recognised and rewarded throughout the year.
