A leading consultancy specialising in neighbourly matters is seeking to appoint a Party Wall Surveyor at Surveyor or Senior Surveyor level to join its established London team. The firm is widely recognised within the market for technical excellence and its involvement in some of the most complex and high value developments in the capital. This role is based from a Central London office with hybrid working and offers the opportunity to join a growing Party Wall team within a business that has clear and ambitious plans for 2026 and beyond.
The Role
You will be involved in a broad range of Party Wall and neighbourly matters, working on major residential and commercial projects across London. The role offers exposure to large project sizes and values, acting for both Building Owners and Adjoining Owners, and working with a high quality client base.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering Party Wall services on leading and complex projects
- Acting for both Building Owners and Adjoining Owners
- Preparing and agreeing Party Wall Awards
- Undertaking schedules of condition
- Advising on access licences, including scaffold and crane licences
- Boundary research and advice on rights of access
- Working closely with a well-established and expanding specialist team
What You Need to Be
This position would suit a Party Wall Surveyor with consultancy experience who is looking to progress their career within a specialist and respected environment. You will ideally have:
- A few years experience in Party Wall surveying within a consultancy
- Experience covering Party Wall Awards, schedules of condition, access licences, boundary research and rights of access
- Project experience across residential and commercial developments
- A clear drive to progress to Senior level and beyond
- A genuine desire to become an industry specialist in Party Wall matters
- Membership of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors or Pyramus & Thisbe (or an equivalent body)
