A boutique building consultancy are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their close knit team. Small in size but delivering a workload comparable to a strong Central London firm, this consultancy consistently punches above its weight, offering exposure to projects and responsibilities rarely found outside larger practices.

  • Planned maintenance and lifecycle work
  • Contract administration and Employers Agent duties

Projects & Locations

Projects cover Residential, Commercial and Education sectors, including both new build and refurbishment. Work locations are across Essex, London and Kent, so a driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Working Pattern

The office is based in Chelmsford, with hybrid working typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Flexibility may be required during your initial period and at key times to support business needs.

Requirements

  • RICS accredited degree in Building Surveying (essential)
  • MRICS or MCIOB (desirable)
  • Strong Building Surveying experience required if not yet chartered; full support and training toward chartership will be provided
