A well established and ambitious building surveying consultancy is seeking an experienced professional to join their team at Partner level. This is an exciting opportunity for a Director looking to make a move or an Associate Director looking to take that next step.
About the Role
This is a strategic leadership position where you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the business. As a Partner, you will contribute to operational decision making, guide the strategic direction of the firm, and work closely with other senior leaders to influence key business outcomes.
You will have full team oversight, managing a skilled group of Associates, Seniors, Assistants and Graduates across a range of projects, ensuring quality, efficiency and professional development within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Leadership: Influence strategic and operational decisions, contributing to the overall growth and direction of the business.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor and develop a multi level team of surveyors, fostering a collaborative and high performing environment.
- Client Liaison: Maintain strong client relationships on ongoing projects and support the generation of new work through excellent service.
- Business Development: Represent the firm at networking events, deliver CPDs and identify new business opportunities.
- Project Oversight: Manage a broad range of projects, including Contract Administration, Defects, Specifications and Disrepair in the social and affordable housing sector, as well as Education and Commercial projects. Bringing an existing client portfolio is advantageous.
Candidate Profile
- MRICS qualified, or significant experience in a similar senior consultancy role demonstrating the ability to lead teams and influence decision makers.
- Proven track record in client management and delivering high quality surveying services.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to contribute strategically to firm growth.
- Confident, proactive and capable of taking ownership in a senior leadership role.
