A well established and growing surveying practice is looking to recruit a Non Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team based on the Southbank or South East London office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a supportive, candidate driven environment, with exposure to a wide range of public sector projects and a clear pathway for career progression.
About the Role: This position offers a varied and engaging workload, primarily focused on public sector projects, including social and affordable housing, council buildings and occasional education related projects. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple aspects of building surveying, with tasks tailored to your experience, strengths and career ambitions.
Core responsibilities may include:
- Contract Administration and management
- Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Project Management of both minor and larger scale schemes
- Acting as Employers Agent on selected projects
- Preparation of Specifications and defect diagnosis
- Fire Safety compliance and advice
The workload is flexible and designed to allow you to focus on areas where you excel or want to develop further. Whether your preference is to concentrate on hands on surveying, project management, or a combination, this role can be shaped to suit your career goals.
