The Frontier Learning Trust comprises two institutions: Woodhouse College and the Imperial College London Mathematics School, based on a vibrant campus in North London. Woodhouse College is a popular and oversubscribed 16-19 academy of around 1500 full-time students. The College is proud of its strong community spirit and friendly supportive atmosphere. The College’s success rates and A*-B pass rates at A level regularly put it in the top five colleges in England. The Maths School is equally successful and was ranked second place nationally in last year’s A level results. Our students are ambitious, lively and committed to doing well. Community Lettings Supervisor – evening and weekend role

  • Part-time (average 16 hours per week), permanent, all year round

  • Actual salary: £13,409 per annum (based on a full-time salary of £30,200 p/a)

We are seeking confident individuals to apply for this exciting role. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and friendly community to help maintain and build on the existing success of the Trust and its future. There are currently two part-time Community Lettings Supervisors; we are looking to appoint a third. The Community Lettings Supervisors report to the Community Lettings Manager (CLM) who manages the lettings of the college facilities.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, act as front-line representatives for the Trust lettings: welcoming hirers and monitoring the use of the facilities and hirer needs. The post requires flexibility as it includes working weekends and mostly evenings. Your working days and starting and finishing times will be set and agreed in advance by the CLM based on a rota. This will be from 9.00am to 5.00pm or 10.00am to 6.00pm on a Saturday and 5.00pm until 9.00pm on a Wednesday. In addition, it will be a requirement to work either Fridays or Sundays (working hours will be confirmed by the CLM in advance in a rota). Your daily working hours may change and will vary to meet the requirements of the job and the department. Any changes are discussed with the CLM and agreed in advance. A lunch break of up to one hour when working over 7 hours per day (in this case, during the weekends) is available.

The Trust can offer a very attractive pension scheme and generous annual leave. The salary will be at Point 9 of the support staff salary spine, currently £26,818 pro-rata, plus £3,382 Outer London Weighting pro-rata per annum. The actual salary will be £13,409 inclusive per annum.
