Woodgate & Clark has been providing a loss adjusting service to the UK insurance market for over 40 years and is one of the UK’s leading loss adjusters, providing complete claims solutions to insurance providers operating in commercial, domestic, marine, and motor. The Company excels at the handling of specialist and non-standard claims. We are currently just under 400 team members across the UK and since 2015, Woodgate & Clark has been part of the Van Ameyde Group, Europe’s market leader in international claims management.
The Project Coordinator sits within Specialist Services, part of Woodgate & Clark, which has its own repair network, Quadrassist, founded in 2013. The Quadrassist network comprises around 100 general contractors, specialist services and a network of internal and external Surveying Services. The Contractor Liaison Team works with Insurers / Loss Adjusters who provide the instructions, managing the claims through the repair process to satisfactory conclusion.
Responsibilities
- Appoint Quadrassist contractors to carry out agreed scope of works, whilst remaining conscious of a client’s specific requirements.
- Manage “Cradle to Grave” coordination of repair works, advising on availability, making appointments and negotiating soonest possible timelines to carry out work.
- Undertake initial estimate validation and validate final account & supporting documents.
- Manage the contractors to ensure SLA compliance and escalate any non-adherence.
- Proactive liaison with contractors, policyholders, loss adjusters and Insurers throughout the QA process.
- Carry out daily quality calls to policyholders to ensure that they are satisfied with repair progression.
- Provide input into process improvement and innovation.
- Provide updates to Management on contractor performance.
- Undertake other duties over and above those listed in the job description, appropriate to the individual’s skills and experience.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements at all times and highlight any contravention to the line manager.
- Provide technical building advice as and when required.
- Provide a proactive quality & accurate service to both internal and external Clients and Colleagues.
- Respond to daily workloads as dictated by customer/Loss Adjuster requirements.
- Manage workload in accordance with priority and responsibilities, using effective planning and organisational skills.
