We are recruiting an experienced personal assistant to join a care team supporting an individual living in their own home.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support with all aspects of daily life.
  • Collaborate with health professionals and support network to achieve independence goals.
  • Drive personal vehicle to appointments and activities.
  • Encourage and help the care recipient push past personal boundaries.

Qualifications:

  • Full driver’s licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Experience working in Adult Social Care, preferably in one-to-one supported living.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, creativity, and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Willingness and ability to drive the care recipient to appointments and activities.

Training & Support:

Full training in regulated activities, The Care Certificate, and a shadowing period with experienced team members will be provided.
