We are seeking a meticulous Data Input Clerk to join our team and support our sales and estimation processes to initially cover maternity leave.
Job Description: The Data Input Clerk will play a vital role in our sales and quotation process by accurately entering and managing data to create precise and competitive quotations for our clients. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and proficiency with data entry and management tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Enter and manage data related to windows and doors products and services in our quotation system.
- Review project specifications and requirements to ensure all necessary data is accurately captured.
- Work closely with the sales and estimating teams to create detailed and accurate quotations for clients.
- Maintain and update a database of costs for materials, labour, and other relevant components.
- Ensure all data entry is performed accurately and efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to verify pricing and availability of materials.
- Continuously improve and streamline data entry processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Proven experience in data entry, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with windows and doors products and market is a plus.
- Proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of estimation and quotation processes is advantageous.
