Fixed term and permanent positions available. 39 week contract – 30.86 hours per week. BAND C, SCP 5: £19,031 - BAND D, SCP 7: £19,641 P.A - actual salary. (SCP 5-7: £25,583 - £26,403 FTE) Required September 2026. Part time will be considered.

Required teaching assistant to work with pupils with SEND, including autistic spectrum disorder, medical and physical impairments, learning difficulties and health care needs. The successful candidate will be skilful in working with young people. They will have an understanding of the impact of additional needs on pupils' learning. They will also have experience of working with pupils with social, emotional and mental health issues. Patience, creativity, initiative and desire to learn are essential qualities for this post.

The diverse role of the TA requires enthusiasm, commitment, flexibility and ambition for young people. This fixed term contract will run until 31st August 2027 due to organisational considerations. A permanent contract will be considered for candidates with the right level of experience.
