The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Golf Operations Assistant to manage the daily operations of our Golf Pro Shop, ensuring its smooth and efficient running. You will create attractive merchandising displays to maximise sales and provide excellent customer service in line with The Club Company’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep the shop well-stocked, clean and welcoming.
- Work closely with the Golf Operations Manager to meet sales targets and drive the business toward its annual retail budget.
- Manage customer play, process bookings and handle charges for golf buggy usage.
- Promote daily sales and special offers, assist with product selection and operate the point-of-sale system.
- Monitor merchandise receipt, assist in selecting tournament products and coordinate with the Course Marshall to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide feedback to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a golf shop environment desirable.
- GCSE qualification.
Schedule:
We operate a 7-day a week business, between 0600 to 2300. Shift patterns will vary as per business requirements and encompass all opening hours – weekends and bank holidays.
