As part of our ambitious growth plans, we are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Internal Sales Account Manager to join our team in Livingston, Scotland. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic industry and contribute to the success of a company that values initiative and teamwork.
In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and growing our customer base. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with clients, identifying sales opportunities, and ensuring the seamless delivery of timber products to meet customer needs. Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAs an Internal Sales Account Manager, you will have an essential role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers through effective communication and a strategic customer-focused approach.
- Identifying daily sales opportunities and converting them into successful business transactions, whilst progressing forward thinking commercial agreements.
- Preparing and delivering accurate quotes tailored to customer requirements based on stock holdings, customer demands and P&L management.
- Collaborating with a haulage and logistics team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of products to customers based on requirements and driving transport savings.
- Monitoring customer accounts and proactively addressing any issues or concerns to ensure high levels of success.
To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of interpersonal skills, industry knowledge, and a proactive attitude. We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the timber or construction industry.
- Possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Is detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple customer accounts simultaneously, with a proven record of results.
- Demonstrates a good understanding of sales processes and the ability to meet targets consistently.
- Is proficient in using CRM / order management systems and other sales tools to track customer interactions and sales activity.
