We are seeking to appoint 2 Sports Teaching Assistants, one to be based at our KS4 Inspire Centre and the other at our Primary Centre, both based in Feltham TW13. You would be working alongside our current friendly and close-knit team to support students who are disaffected with school or who have been permanently excluded.

Salary: Scale 6 Point 16 - 20 (£27,017 - £28,660 gross pa). You will work 5 days per week, 32.5 hours per week, term time only.

We are a multi-site Alternative Provision for children and young people with complex needs and we provide a vital service to the families and schools of Hounslow. Responsibilities:

  • Support students who are disaffected with school or have been permanently excluded, working alongside the current team.
  • Contribute to a safe, supportive learning environment with strong behaviour management skills.
  • Work within our multi-site setting and adapt to the needs of different centres (KS4 Inspire Centre and Primary Centre).

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous school experience in a supporting role is essential.
  • Outstanding behaviour management skills.
  • Price trained (positive handling and de-escalation technique training) or willingness to undertake training.
  • Candidates should have a sports background and be interested in sports.
