Wood has an opportunity for a Site Civil Engineer / Earthworks Engineer to be based on site in Teesside but with visits to the office in Reading. This will be working on an exciting Net Zero project for a major client. This is a field role working on behalf of the Client/Owner site team to oversee the bulk earthworks, ground remediation and demolition works conducted by the 3rd party to verify compliance with project specifications.
The ideal candidate will be a chartered Civil / Geotechnical Engineer with strong earthworks supervisory experience and some ground remediation / contaminated land experience. Candidates with demonstrated field experience and knowledge of supervising earthworks / remediation activities and/or brownfield regeneration will be considered.
