Dana contract is looking for a Rotating Equipment Engineer with Operations & Maintenance experience to support the Triton FPSO supporting day to day operations, including emergent scopes and routine maintenance plus improvement campaigns – ideally based in Aberdeen with capacity to travel Offshore. The role of a Rotating Equipment Engineer is to deliver an ambition of sustainably top quartile safe and reliable operations. The Rotating Equipment Engineer role drives equipment and system availability through proactive mitigation of equipment and system degradation, active support to front line operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Failure and incident investigation / RCA.
  • Approval of MOC’s.
  • Regulatory assurance including SC, QRA’s, and OPEP’s.
  • Review and accept or reject deviations to codes, standards, practices and guidelines.
  • Approve changes to Ops procedures and manuals.
  • Approval deferrals.
  • Review and endorse ORA’s.
  • Check and approve changes to critical documents including P&ID’s.
  • Support in the ranking and management of facilities risks.
  • Support in the development of improvement opportunities.
  • Close out or verify actions (Events, MyHSES etc).
  • Review and approve vendor design documentation and testing as part of the vendor management process.
  • Approve repair plans (Anomalies / breakdown).
  • Identify and endorse shutdown activities.
  • Drive a mindset of mitigation or elimination of systemic impacts on equipment availability.
  • Visibly support a process safety ambition and hydrocarbon leak prevention plan.
  • Drive execution of maintenance as per the Performance Standards by delivery of safety critical and routine maintenance.
  • Actively support an Incident Free Workplace mindset.
  • Visibly contribute to integrated planning and department objectives.

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant subject.
  • Good engineering and operations experience in oil and gas.
