Wood is recruiting for a People Systems Lead - Talent Acquisition & Development to join us on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role where you will work with the business stakeholders to support leveraging Hire to Retire technology to drive functional objectives and support initiatives to achieve these objectives. We are open to this role being remote with the UK and the US and welcome applications from candidates who can work with all levels within functional teams globally.

The successful applicant will ensure that People Systems activity aligns with business objectives and maximises the effectiveness and competitiveness of Wood, ensuring maximisation of procedures and efficiency alongside the operational functional teams. This role’s objective is to ensure the business is provided with high quality support related to maximising commercial worth and minimising risk by adhering to Wood policies and processes.

The primary responsibilities are to deliver functional area programme or specialist area and ensure delivered system solutions meet business requirements; business and systems processes are clearly defined and ensure appropriate data cleanse and monitoring. You will collaborate and partner with key business stakeholders to deliver optimised efficiency and performance through technology and drive business process continuous improvement. This role may lead a team to ensure a successful execution of required goals and objectives.

Expected:

  • Educated to degree level or relevant equivalent years of experience (majoring in systems would be a bonus).
  • Excellent knowledge in the use of EBS or HCM solutions for supporting business strategy.
  • Able to articulate business benefits of systems.
  • Knowledge of IT system delivery and change management processes aligned to strong understanding of business operations and strategy.
  • Possesses functional systems processing expertise for assigned objectives.
  • Able to design and implement standard business processes to ensure successful systems deployment.
  • Able to effectively work with multi-disciplinary teams on regional and global levels and identify stakeholder needs and refer as appropriate.
  • Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility over broad objectives, priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Identifies inefficiencies, seeks new ways to improve and provides process improvement recommendations.
  • Demonstrates awareness and appreciation for the global multi-dimensional and diverse perspectives in the organisation’s line of business.
  • Excellent skills and understanding of writing system and test scripts.
  • Awareness of functional principles, practices and regulations in a global context.
