Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer (contract) to work in our Reading office. The role will be on a full-time basis working on our Client's Middle Eastern Oil & Gas project. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in electrical activities related to this Detailed Engineering scope of work. You will ensure the work complies with design standards and codes while coordinating with the rest of the project engineering teams. You should utilize your extensive experience in FEED and EPC projects within the Oil & Gas Industry to review and deliver design packages, supported by your knowledge of power systems and digital control systems.

  • Knowledge of analogue and digital control systems, including Power System Automation (PSA), DCS, PLC, and SCADA controls
