Post Contract Commercial Graduate

Wood is currently recruiting for a Post-Contract Commercial Graduate to join our Operations team in Aberdeen, beginning September 2022.

Key accountabilities:

• Assists with proposal support
• Assists with post contract award administration
• Supports contract close out tasks including preparation of provisional and final account information
• Maintains contract files and registers in accordance with functional and project procedures
• Works on commercial items including rate review, claim handling and KPI calculations
• Uses processes and procedures on a daily basis to help with tasks, knows where to locate and which to apply in different situations
• Shadows Commercial colleagues in various meetings

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Educated to Degree Level or equivalent

Minimum Experience:

• Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in business administration, commerce, quantity surveying, or similar discipline, or an equivalent level of work experience

Job-Specific Skills:

• Understanding of commercial administration procedures
• Understanding of contracting principles

Other Knowledge, skills and experience:

• Relevant work experience within in commercial / contracts preferable
• Proficient user of Excel and other Microsoft software
• Good communication skills essential
• Good at growing networks, ability to work as a team or on their own
• Self-motivated with a growth and learning mindset
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team environments
• Must have the right to work in UK
