An exciting opportunity has arisen with Wood on our Shell Technical Manpower contract in the East of England. We are pleased to offer a bespoke 4 year apprenticeship programme combining on‑site exposure and college based education, supporting local talent in the area to gain skills and training within one of the key sites in the region. This is a full‑time position (37.5hrs week).

1st year of apprenticeship: full‑time at East Coast College Lowestoft – Level 3 Multidiscipline.

2nd year of apprenticeship: full‑time at Shell Bacton – Level 3 discipline specific.

3rd and 4th years of apprenticeship: Level 4 equivalent to HNC discipline specific – site based.

Responsibilities:

Year one will take place in East Coast College full-time where you will complete a Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. In Year 2 you will be primarily based within the workplace, applying the competencies you have learned during your time in college. We have positions within our Shell Bacton site as well as across our Shell offshore assets offshore Norwich. Accommodation & travel allowances are not provided, and applicants should live a commutable distance to Bacton site.
