Wood is recruiting Programme Support Coordinators to join our Transformation PMO. Applicants should have a strong understanding of project and programme governance frameworks, along with experience supporting complex, cross‑functional transformation programmes. This is a 12‑month contract, and we are open to either fixed‑term or contract engagement. We welcome applications from candidates based in London who are able to work in the office three days per week.
In the role you will work within the programme team to help support and manage the programme while also providing bespoke support to programme workstreams, assisting with coordination and workstream governance and reporting. You’ll work closely with members of the Transformation PMO, as well as Workstream Leads and wider team members, building strong internal relationships to support programme delivery. Externally, you’ll engage with key contacts across partner programme support organisations. This role plays an important part in providing advice and support to enable effective decision‑making, driving consistency, alignment and buy‑in across the business.

Responsibilities
- Support the central PMO in delivering end‑to‑end programme governance.
- Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams to ensure alignment, pace, and effective delivery.
- Track progress, milestones, and financial impact (EBIT and cash).
- Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), integrated plans, and action trackers.
- Collaborate with workstreams on governance, reporting, and execution.
- Support data collection activities (workshops, interviews, process mapping).
- Produce high‑quality reporting for leadership and Steering Committees.
- Act as a central point of contact for programme documentation and coordination.
- Track benefits realisation and identify risks to delivery.
- Facilitate meetings, capture actions, and drive accountability.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting.
- Prepare presentations and programme materials.
Qualifications
- Experience in PMO, project coordination, consulting, or transformation support.
- Experience in cost reduction or business improvement programmes.
- Experience working in multi‑functional, matrixed organisations.
- Experience supporting programme governance, reporting, and delivery tracking (preferred).
- Exposure to large‑scale transformation or change environments.
- Skilled in project planning tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
- Skilled in RAID management and reporting.
- Skilled in document preparation and reporting (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Working knowledge of EBIT drivers (cost reduction, margin improvement).
- Working knowledge of cash levers (working capital, capex, payables/receivables).
- Working knowledge of tracking and reconciling benefits realisation.
- Working knowledge of linking operational delivery to financial outcomes.
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI / Tableau (preferred).
- Data consolidation from multiple workstreams and systems.
- Ability to produce clear, insight‑driven dashboards and reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across senior leadership and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work and prioritise effectively.
- Ability to build relationships, influence without authority, and operate across diverse teams.
