If so, Wood is recruiting for a talented & enthusiastic Consultant to join our Information Solutions Team, with a particular focus on low-code development & technical support using Microsoft Office 365 applications & the Power Platform.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team which has been identified as a critical element of Wood’s future, to unlock solutions to the world’s most critical challenges. Demand for our services is higher than ever and we need experienced people who will grow and succeed with us. You will become part of our diverse and accomplished Information Solutions team, working with the latest Microsoft 365 technologies, helping deliver high quality, bespoke solutions to our clients.
The role is a blend of development, operations & system administration to assist in expanding the deployment of our templated solutions. A typical working week for this role will consist of the following:
- Deployment & testing of our templated Office 365 Solutions on projects
- Administration and maintenance of current SharePoint online solutions and in house-built applications and automated flows
- Assist in the ongoing maintenance of deployment documentation
- Providing technical user support on projects using our Help Desk App
- Support the design, development, and delivery of complex bespoke solutions (part of team or working under own supervision)
- Provide input into solutions technical documentation
- Maintaining & updating our template O365 Solutions
- Monitoring performance of automated flows and flagging any issues or concerns to lead developers in the team
- Design & implement automated flows to support in the regular auditing process for deployed solutions

Qualifications
- Experience with Power Platform: Mainly Power Automate & PowerApps
- Understanding of connection types and licensing impacts
- Experience creating, managing, and maintaining solutions using PowerApps
- Knowledge of differences between Canvas, Model Driven and Portal Apps
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint and Teams
- Understanding of Dataverse (Common Data Service) and SQL
- Ability to understand and analyse and document business problems
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Macro creation is a plus
- Possess problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrate an ability to problem-solve in a creative manner
- Methodical approach to problems / issues
- A real willingness to learn, using your creative initiative
- Regularly following key Microsoft MVPs, their YouTube Channels, and application of the things they share
- Any Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform
