This role requires extensive experience in administering Aveva ERM and involves supporting work processes related to the end-to-end lifecycle management of materials in the execution of EPC projects across the EMEA region. The Lead Material Management Systems Administrator will act as focal point for the Materials Management System (MMS) in the region. You will engage with stakeholders to ensure successful rollout of the materials lifecycle management system and associated processes, to ensure the MMS is setup in accordance with the Client’s and Contract / Project’s requirements, and to provide guidance on how the systems should be used in accordance with the requirements of the Business Unit. You will support different functions (Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Construction) with the correct use of the MMS during the execution of projects and be responsible for assessing upcoming MMS software versions and enhancements and liaise with software vendor to determine the necessary steps. You will work with other members of the Information Management team with development activities including systems interfaces and reports. You will prepare documentation associated with the administration of the MMS including training materials, procedures and guides.

Responsibilities
- Set-up new contracts and projects within the MMS including assistance with new interfaces where required
- Interface with Clients to obtain bulk materials catalogues, upload and set up catalogues and coordinate ongoing updates
- Assist with the processing of material requirements from engineering design systems; regular uploads of material take offs (MTOs) into the MMS
- Support requisitioning activities for engineering disciplines (Piping, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical and Structural); assist with preparation of deliverables like material requisitions as needed
- Assist with project material allocations (soft and hard allocations)
- Provide materials status reporting for stakeholders to enable actions to meet milestones
- Provide admin and user training of MMS and address user queries
- Develop the MMS Administration Procedure
- Develop training material for users and administrators
- Assist in global alignment / rollout of MMS in the business unit
Qualifications
- Experience in material management lifecycle activities for EPC contracts
- Extensive experience with Aveva ERM
- In-depth technical knowledge of project materials, including local and international codes & standards and client requirements
- Involvement in activities associated with the management of electronic data
- Experience in designing and implementing systems to manage project materials data
- Proficient with SQL query development, programming in LUA, advanced Excel
- Experienced with materials management software (in-house or proprietary)
- Strong understanding of 2D/3D CAD systems supporting MMS
- Understanding of Pipe Classes and commodity code/part numbers and how they drive 3D CAD and plant design; advanced knowledge of materials management in EPCM
- Advanced knowledge of all stages of the material management lifecycle (Take-offs, Requisitioning, Tendering, Purchasing, Expediting, Inspection, Allocation, Shipping, Surplus)
Desirable
- Writing SQL queries to support MMS reporting
- Basic Oracle database knowledge
