Wood is currently sourcing a Lead Flow Assurance Consultant to manage key projects, develop technical proficiency within the company, assist in new opportunities and interface with key clients. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you will primarily supervise senior flow assurance consultants and will have excellent interpersonal skills and management experience.
You will have a solid technical background and be comfortable being a primary point of contact with senior clients and specialists.
Responsibilities:- Project management of small, medium or large project teams of flow assurance specialists;
- Assist the Regional Manager in developing project proposals, bids and tender documents and assist with business development as required;
- Provide technical leadership to clients / project teams;
- Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with the company quality management system;
- Ensure that project objectives assigned by the Project Manager and Client are achieved;
- Provide guidance and mentoring for more junior staff on simulation and career progression;
- Deliver effective, concise presentations internally and to clients;
- Act as a client representative at technical meetings with third parties.

- Previous flow assurance and experience at a similar level in the Oil and Gas industry with an excellent technical background;
- Proficient and hands-on experience with major flow assurance software packages e.g. OLGA, Pipesim, Multiflash, LedaFlow etc.
- A proven track record in management of flow assurance studies;
- Proven experience in coaching the junior flow assurance and process engineers;
- Recognised qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or extensive experience in a relative field and a demonstrated ability to be able to perform equivalently to, or better than, reasonably expected of a degree qualified engineer. Advanced degree focussing in the areas of multiphase flow / fluid dynamics / heat transfer / applied mathematics is desirable but not required;
- Good knowledge of HAZOP, process safety and risk assessment;
- Local market knowledge would be seen as an advantage.
