Graduate Engineer Wood Power Solutions are currently recruiting a Graduate Civil / Structural Engineer to join their Transmission and Distribution Engineering Design Team in Horsham, West Sussex to start in August 2022. We have secured fantastic growth opportunities and are looking for an engineer to develop as part of our team. Our work typically involves the support of Overhead and Underground transmission construction projects. As such our staff have a range of academic backgrounds including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical engineering but also survey, mathematics and physics so this field will provide suitable opportunities for a range academic backgrounds.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Masters Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent professional qualification with relevant industry experience.
  • Enthusiasm to work and develop your career in Engineering within the Transmission & Distribution
  • Demonstrate initiative, tenacity and excellent communication skills
  • Intellectually capable, can substantiate the ability to apply theory in a practical context.
  • Professional demeanor, interpersonal skills.
  • Possess an ability to learn quickly and be adaptable and flexible to match business requirements
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team environments
  • Must have the right to work in UK
