Wood are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our EMEA Regional Finance team as part of the Consulting business unit. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting across the UK and Ireland business units for Consulting. This position can be based from any of our UK or Irish offices on a hybrid basis.

As a key member of the EMEA Regional Finance Consulting Team, this role is pivotal in driving excellence in project accounting, financial reporting and governance across the region. The Finance Manager will be a strategic business partner fostering collaboration with operational leaders to deliver insightful financial analysis and performance insight. This involves the provision of timely reporting of financial data internally to business stakeholders and externally. Furthermore, financial reporting will extend to forecasts, budgets and a “no surprises” outlook, together with ad-hoc financial analysis.

As the Finance Manager you will manage a team and be responsible for their development and workload management. You will also be the escalation point for all financial matters relating to the UK and Ireland consulting business, ensuring your team are fully supported and empowered at all times. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance professional, with excellent communication, business partnering and leadership skills to take on a critical role that will directly support the UK & Ireland service lines in achieving their financial targets.
