Job Description

Wood is recruiting for Pipefitters to join their Integrity Repair Solutions Fabrication Facility based in Tullos, Aberdeen. Positions are full‑time staff roles, Monday‑Friday with a 1pm finish on Friday.

Role

The position requires Pipefitters who have completed their apprenticeship or demonstrate experience in pipefitting. You will join a team of welders, fabricators, and pipefitters, ensuring all tasks are carried out to the highest safety standards while adhering to project requirements and specifications. As a Pipefitter, you will have good technical knowledge with the ability to complete all work scopes in line with the applicable work packs, with support from your supervisor. You will attend daily toolbox talks, where the team is encouraged to share knowledge and best practices. Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all work scopes communicated by the line supervisor in accordance with work pack and job card instructions.
  • Ensure the safe execution of all activities.
  • Report any defect or inspection reports to line supervisors in a clear and concise manner.
  • Report any changes in scope of work to the line supervisor for safe reassessment.
  • Support overall delivery of Trung Co. goals and schedule.
  • Support team performance and development by sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Participate and carry out toolbox talks as required.
  • Maintain awareness of the physical condition of plant and equipment to ensure technical integrity.
  • Maintain awareness of personal safety, that of others, and risks associated with the scope.

Qualifications

  • Time served, with apprenticeship and/or vocational qualification.
  • Sound technical knowledge.
  • Ability to understand relevant construction drawings.
