The Role
This role’s objective is to ensure the business is provided with high-quality support related to maximizing commercial worth and minimizing risk by adhering to Wood's policies and processes. The primary responsibilities are to implement supply chain setup and processes in Oracle R12.2 environment. Ensures delivered system solutions meet business requirements; business and systems processes are clearly defined and ensures appropriate data cleanse and monitoring.
Collaborates and partners with key business stakeholders to deliver optimized efficiency and performance through technology and drives business process continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
The Key objectives for this role are:
- Support the ERP Systems Manager in delivering effective practices that complement the ERP implementation roadmap and solution blueprint
- Support the ERP Systems Manager in leading function-driven projects and strategic initiatives
- Assist with project planning, discovery, business readiness, and the adoption of streamlined and standardized end-to-end business processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and projects aimed at delivering best-in-class technology solutions
- Identify opportunities for automation, help define technology priorities, and explore application capabilities to improve business efficiency
- Stay informed of functional changes introduced through Oracle quarterly maintenance packs and assess their business impact
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of global end-to-end business processes, standards, guidance, and technical system documentation
- Act as a key functional focal point or Subject Matter Expert (SME) during business implementation rollouts, or provide ongoing post-go-live support as required
- Monitor, track, and manage Oracle quarterly system updates, collaborating with key business stakeholders to gather requirements and coordinate implementation activities
- Work closely with the Change Management Analyst to align project activities, communications, training, and education within functional project plans
- Provide accurate effort estimates and support the development of business requirements, test plans, deployment activities, and user acceptance testing
- Mentor and support less experienced team members by sharing technical expertise, functional knowledge, and leadership guidance
- Manage assigned projects and deliver agreed outcomes within defined timelines using available resources

Expected
- Educated to degree level or relevant equivalent years of experience (in systems would be a bonus)
- Previous experience in a similar role for Oracle R12 ERP solutions
- Experience of the particular challenges with a complex Procurement/ Supply Chain function
- Able to effectively work with multi-disciplinary teams on regional and global levels
- Identifies stakeholder needs and refers as appropriate.
- Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility over broad objectives, priorities, and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Able to articulate business benefits of systems
- Knowledge of IT system delivery and change management processes aligned with a strong understanding of business operations and strategy
- Possesses functional systems processing expertise for assigned objectives
- Identifies inefficiencies, seeks new ways to improve, and provides process improvement
