We are currently looking for Expression of Interest applications for a Lead Planner to be based in Aberdeen, Scotland. We offer flexible hybrid working. Job Objective: The preparation, review and reporting of accurate project schedules and plans in support of the robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the development of project schedules and plans, ensuring they are prepared to the required level of detail and accuracy and in accordance with contractual requirements and Wood policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensures schedules and plans are documented and auditable and that project schedules and plans are maintained and issued in a controlled manner.
  • Supervises and manages the Planning team by delegating work, reviewing the work output of the team where appropriate, providing guidance and support, and managing the development of the Planning team members.
  • Acts as the focal point for all aspects of planning support to the project team and client, managing the communications interfaces essential for the delivery of the Planning team.
  • Responsible for ensuring systems, processes, procedures, and standards are maintained.
  • Accountable for identifying areas of best practice and driving continuous improvement within the Planning team.
  • May deliver the role as an individual or as part of a team as determined by the requirements of the project organization.
