Wood is looking for Contracts Engineers on a staff or contract basis, to work in our Reading office. You will be responsible for preparing contract documents and arranging for execution during Pre-awards including but not limited to conducting evaluation/clarification meetings with Contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing contract documents and arranging for execution during Pre-awards including conducting evaluation/clarification meetings with Contractors.
- Prequalification of Contractors, forwarding of Techno Commercial Bid Evaluation reports and Commercial Bid evaluation/award recommendation reports.
- Preparing Schedule of Construction Contracts.
- Exposure to quantity take offs for various disciplines viz Civil & Structural, Piping & E&I Works is desirable.
Qualifications:
- Should be a Civil / Mechanical / Electrical engineer with extensive experience in Sub-contracts and Quantity surveying works for Refineries, Oil and Gas industries, like Pre-FEED and FEED projects.
- Knowledge of FIDIC terms and conditions.
- Previous experience of working with Aramco preferred.
- Communication and Coordination skills.
- Good Computer skills.
