From high‑intensity conditioning and strength to cycle, HIIT and restorative sessions, Third Space Wood Wharf delivers world‑class group classes that combine cutting‑edge training with best‑in‑class energy and precision coaching.
Our members have an unparalleled dedication to their training, with our classes in more demand than ever and our members talk to us a lot about what they love and what improvements they think can be made to our Group Exercise offering. We are now looking for a Group Exercise Operations Assistant who will work alongside the Group Exercise Manager in order to ensure that we remain best in class and continue to be the Third Space for our members and enabling them to be their personal best.
This role will require you to teach a minimum of 10 classes per week and 30 hours of the week will be spent with our members – you'll be responding to their feedback on a daily basis and helping them with any problems they have with their classes. You'll also work closely with our instructor population to ensure that they are up to date with their admin and the Central Group Exercise team to assist with sourcing cover for instructors who are unable to attend their scheduled classes.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to manage a wide and varied workload and be just as comfortable engaging with people over the phone and via email as you are face to face, on the gym floor or in the studio. You'll be an experienced teacher and this role will suit you if you have longer term ambitions to progress into Group Exercise Management in the future.
This role is 30 hours per week of Group Exercise support, with the opportunity to teach up to 10 classes per week, paid in addition. We are particularly interested in candidates who are qualified to teach Barre, Reformer Pilates and Mat Pilates.
