Wood is currently recruiting for a Client Administrator (contract) to work on our clients Middle Eastern Chemicals Pre-FEED project. It will be working in our Green Park, Reading office for around 16 months.
The role provides general administrative support to the client team on the project. You will be involved in many different things day to day such as arranging meetings, greeting visitors, booking travel and researching local accommodation.
Responsibilities:- Ensure that all members of the team have the security and network credentials that they need e.g. door access, network access, @client.woodplc.com email accounts, access to printing and maintain records of these.
- Arrange for hardware and software as indicated in the contract (PC, desk telephone, MS Office etc.).
- Arrange travel, schooling, visas, accommodation etc. for Client's team relocating from overseas.
- Pro-actively intercept/prevent client difficulties and problems.
- Where required, and where it does not compromise the discretion of the Client Secretary role, provide cover or assistance to the Wood PA/Secretary.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with Client's teams in their home office where this will be helpful to expedite responses.

- Request for help, advice and guidance on UK culture and services.
- Diary management for the Client team.

- Combine material from a variety of sources in order to produce reports, and distribute as required/dictated by the Client.
- Screen incoming telephone calls.
- Create material required for presentations.
- Organise and maintain stationery and sundry supplies.
- Organise courier services.
- Provide absence cover for Wood PA/Secretary as required.
- Good previous experience in an administrative and client facing role is required.
