Wood is recruiting for a NUI OIM & Head of Combined Operations (HCO), for the Shell Valaris 92 on a 2 year fixed term basis, mobilising from Norwich.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is responsible for, but not limited to;
\\n

    \\n
  • As NUI OIM / HCO responsible for the overall personal & process safety for the installation and MoME assurance/ action inline with legislation & company policy.
  • \\n

  • As NUI OIM / HCO responsible for marine activities within the 500m Zone
  • \\n

  • Organise, execute and/or supervise the delivery of planned operational & maintenance associated with planned project decommissioning activities.
  • \\n

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with Safe Isolation & Re-instatement of Plant (SIRP).
  • \\n

  • Responsible for logistical organisation onboard the associated NUI; Cargo operations, Supply Vessel operations and organisation
  • \\n

  • Ensure all work is adequately planned and controlled through the control of work system in the position of permit to work coordinator and responsible area accountable person with regards to risk assessment, hazard controls and documentation.
  • \\n

  • Drive compliance with performance standards, regulations and to contribute to meeting asset performance targets
  • \\n

  • Responsible for management of vendors whilst onboard the associated NUI.
  • \\n

  • Be a safety leader demonstrating qualities of safety leadership which are aligned to company expectations.
  • \\n

Process Ownership:

  • Continuous monitoring and improvement of process safety, environmental compliance.
  • \\n

  • Monitor compliance with standards and processes to assure operational delivery.
  • \\n

  • Play an active role in the safety and quality management systems
  • \\n

  • Ensure all change is controlled and managed.
  • \\n

  • Continuous promotion of, and adherence to, management system and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • \\n

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
\\n

    \\n
  • Technical training to at least HNC/HND level or recognised and accredited management qualification and/or with relevant considerable experience.
  • \\n

  • Minimum of OIM level 1 MoME
  • \\n

  • NVQ level 3 in Processing Hydrocarbons
  • \\n

  • Minimum offshore basic training certification
  • \\n
