Wood is currently recruiting for an Onshore Mechanical Technician at Spirit Energy Project at Barrow in Furness. Workscope will mainly consist of general mechanical maintenance, both routine and breakdown, working on a varying amount of kit, including valves, engines, compressors, gearboxes, and turbines.

Start date: ASAP

Contract until: October 2026

Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off

Location: Barrow in Furness

Lodge Allowance: £80.00 per night if the following criteria is met: An employee who, by agreement with the employer, lives away from home shall be entitled to an accommodation allowance under either of the following criteria: Travel from home to site is greater than or equal to 80 miles. It would be the candidate's responsibility to arrange accommodation and claim back via expenses.
