Position Overview
Wood is currently recruiting for an Onshore Mechanical Technician at Spirit Energy Project at Barrow in Furness. The work scope will mainly consist of general mechanical maintenance, including routine and breakdown tasks, working on a variety of equipment such as valves, engines, compressors, gearboxes, and turbines.
Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Duration: Until December 2026 (with potential for extension)
- Rotation: Currently 7 days on, 7 days off (this will change to Monday to Friday one week and Monday to Thursday the next from October)
- Location: Barrow in Furness
Allowance
Lodge Allowance is paid at a rate of £80.00 per night if the following criteria are met:
- An employee who, by agreement with the employer, lives away from home shall be entitled to an accommodation allowance.
- Travel from home to site is greater than or equal to 80 miles (distance).
