Wood is recruiting for an Operations Consultant to join its Operations Readiness team, focusing on the development and review of operations manuals and other technical documentation to ensure clients have all the necessary items in place to commence safe and efficient process operations. This is a contract role, expected to last for 12 months in duration.

The Operations Consultant will develop and review operations manuals, procedures, work instructions and other operations and maintenance-related documentation for all systems associated with process industry facilities. This is a hybrid position, home-working/office-based, and candidates will be expected to travel to one of our offices on a regular basis (Aberdeen, Teesside or Hull).

The Role

Reporting to the Lead Operations Consultant, the primary focus of this role is to develop documentation and data for operations documentation projects for new projects (greenfield) and further developing and enhancing operations documentation for facilities currently in use within operations (brownfield). The overarching objective is to deliver operations documentation oversight to improve overall operational efficiency and safety of plant, personnel and production processes in operations.

A key aspect of the role is ensuring client satisfaction and requirements are met in developing quality operations documentation solutions, within scope, budget and to required timescales.
