The ideal D&T Teaching Assistant will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university, ideally in Design Technology, Product Design, Engineering, or a related creative or technical discipline. Previous child-centred experience in a UK educational setting is highly valued. The school is seeking a practical, creative, and safety-conscious D&T Teaching Assistant with strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for design and making. Salary: £444 per week, pro rata to term time only. Full-time, long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027. Term-time only. Potential for extended contracts or teacher training pathways following a successful placement.
