As a Housekeeper we ask for you to treat our residents like they are your own family, ensuring respect and dignity at all times. You will work in a busy care home ensuring cleaning standards are kept to a high-quality standard. Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working in a busy housekeeping environment.
  • A committed and organised approach.
  • A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible to work shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the home and participate in appropriate training.
  • Encourage and support staff in their development and training.
  • Ensure a full understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who require care and support.
  • Guarantee that adults are safeguarded in a way that recognises their choice and control.
  • Adhere to safeguarding and whistle‑blowing policies at all times.
  • Provide evidence of all completed training.
  • Comply with fire procedures, health and safety legislation and work in a safe environment.
  • Complete all training as determined by the home.
